“Ad Quad 7” is the long-awaited modulus. If this were 2400 years ago, the master-builder would arrive in town and at an early point would inscribe a geometric design. That design would yield major and minor proportions, enough to build the building. It might be a mausoleum or a cathedral. The one thing that builder’s modulus might also have done would be to define where exactly the building would be sited on the land set aside as a sacred precinct.
Today we might not think of that as anything more than the left over space. That’s today and it’s reduced to a 12″ square with colors.
